What is the role of money in your family? Who manages it?

As far as money is concerned, everyone is absolutely independent in making decisions, only the children are still under our control. My husband and I spend our earnings in the way we find necessary. If to talk about clothes, in our country the choice of goods for the middle class is so poor that there is hardly anything you can spend money on. My attitude towards this issue is very selective and demanding. That is why I prefer to order clothes from tailors. I do not buy anything in the most expensive stores, because the prices there are too inflated and the goods on offer are not worth the money spent. Besides, I have no special occasions: meetings or parties where I could wear such expensive clothing. I need interesting clothes for everyday use but there is too little time to look for some particular stores.

In this connection, it is good to always have money on a card in case I see something attractive.

What criteria do you follow when you choose a banking institution whose services you would like to use?

The same criteria as those I used when choosing a car. Half-jokingly and half-seriously I once told a magazine that the ideal car should be completely automated. It is when you get in the car, say the destination point – and the car takes you there all by itself. You want the same degree of clarity and simplicity while using banking services. As well as reliability, so that you do not have to use several sources in order to check the information received there.

And what does "simplicity in service" mean to you?

First of all, the minimum quantity of documents for obtaining any banking product. Plus – the minimum quantity of time and the availability of one centralized service center. In short – “you see, you come in, you obtain”.

What banking services do you use?

I started with a salary card of one of the banks where all employees of our channel are serviced. Now I have decided to look more closely into the issue of deposits. When you earned "two kopecks", figuratively speaking, the main objective was to save them. When the income becomes higher than “two kopecks”, then it is interesting to study the banking services and deal with banks. How do you resolve the task of managing your finance?

Finance should rather be managed by financial structures for which it is the main activity. For me, as for any ordinary person, it is important to have the necessary amount of money in the right place and at the right time, in order to carry out my plans. As an example, I can cite an amusing rule, in my opinion, - the limit of cash allowed to be taken abroad.

Oftentimes, I come across this rule while traveling and as a law-abiding person I try to follow it. So in my luggage, together with the toothbrush, there is always a thousand dollars, just in case.
